"New Shoes"...

If you're sitting in a crowded subway car and you don't get up to let a pregnant woman sit, please stop reading my blog. Being a gentleman is stylish. Acting like you are the sh-t is not cool. Let's grow up and try walking in someone else's shoes for once.

Couldn't agree more. There is nothing more stylish than being the consummate gentleman.

couldn't agree more. also included are old people, mothers with children, disabled people and really anybody who actually really NEEDS to sit.

and bonus - from a purely selfish perspective - if you give up your seat to someone else you automatically become THE SHIT to every person on that bus/train/etc. it's not the reason to do it - it's the icing.

Sadly many people think chivalry and being a gentleman is no longer necessary, I am glad u are not one of them!

I am in need of commonsense I know where to look. The gentleman in me has to appreciate this chivalry.

Being polite is far from a life-style, it's more like... an inalianable value. And priceless too.

I stay telling people that if chivalry is dead then I'm the one bringing it back to life.
