There are dress shoes, and there are sneakers. The two should not be combined. Very easy tip for today...stay away from any footwear that can be described as a "hybrid" or "cross" between a dress shoe and a sneaker.

could not agree more. the black oxford is exceptionally ugly. the loafer is slightly better.
haha...great post...i've despised hybrids since day one. they prey off of the average male dresser's lack of style/product knowledge and should never be worn, ever. next step: burn down the Sketchers factory (I don't actually endorse vigilante terrorism).
OMG I can't thank you enough for writing about this. Last weekend a couple friends and I went clubbing and they both had those ugly hybrids on. there is no excuse for wearing those.
